
Michael Kinney concentrates his intellectual property practice in all areas of patent and trademark law. He has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in technical fields including cellular and satellite communications systems, computers, data processing and information systems, consumer products display systems, software, the Internet and precision mechanical and electro-mechanical devices such as laser and imaging systems as well as digital and analog timepieces. He has extensive computer hardware and software experience including a computer science and engineering educational background as well as eleven years in industry as a programmer of engineering, production control and manufacturing systems. He is familiar with numerous programming languages and hardware platforms. He was formerly an intellectual property attorney with Wiggin and Dana.
